The Walk to Emmaus is an experience of Christian spiritual renewal and formation that begins with a three-day short course in Christianity. The objective of Emmaus is to inspire, challenge, and equip the local church members for Christian action in their homes, churches, communities, and places of work. Emmaus lifts up a way for our grace-filled lives to be lived and shared with others. Please consider sponsoring someone to attend a weekend. Here are the two walks coming up for September and October.

More of a casual worship service than Sunday School class, The Journey meets in Scott Hall, the gym, to gather together and worship God. They also partake in communion on first Sundays. All are welcome.
Bible studies are held throughout the week and cover a variety of topics. Wednesday evenings offer studies for youth, including our confirmation class.
Women's Bible Study
Our women's bible study group usually meets in the Wesley Classroom, room #18, on Monday nights at 6:30pm. However, until we can get back into the church they will be meeting at Port Neches Middle School library. They gather then split off into small groups and come back together to close out each session. They will begin their latest study on the book Seamless: Understanding the Bible as One Complete Story by Angie Smith on October 4th. Contact Beth Melancon for more information.
The idea is to gather together on a regular basis outside of Sunday morning and get to know each other better. These groups have the possibility to create some wonderful friendships. They can be as casual or as formal as your group decides, from tailgating before a football game to a potluck at someone's house, to eating out at a restaurant.
