Sunday School – 10:00 a.m. (ages preschool – 5^th grade)

 (Nursery is available for children under preschool age)

Rotation Sunday school is unique because it teaches the same Bible story or truth for six weeks.  The children visit a different “workshop” each Sunday to learn the story in new and exciting ways.  The workshops are art, storytelling, science, theater, cookery and bible skills.  The children love the program because it appeals to all learning styles and because they know they will always experience something new and exciting in Sunday school.  The parents love it because they’ve seen an increase in the love and knowledge of Jesus in their kids since we began the program four years ago.  We use this model throughout the school year and use traditional Sunday school in the summer.  

Over the next few months we will be learning about David the boy, Jonah, the Annunciation, Joseph's dream, Elizabeth, and more about Joseph!  To find out more about our upcoming rotations, scroll down to the page.

ANNOUNCING THE OPENING OF THE DISCIPLE STORE FOR CHILDREN!!!

We will be opening a Disciple Store for the children to shop in using "Temple Tokens."  The children can earn tokens by having good attendance at Sunday School, good behavior, learning scripture, inviting friends to Sunday School and winning Bible Mania.  The store will have some really cool items in it and the kids will be encouraged to save those tokens!

Upcoming Rotations:

August 29 - October 3

We will be learning about David when he was a boy.  We will learn how God used the gifts of the young boy David to accomplish God's purposes.  We will also learn how God can use our gifts to accomplish His purposes!

October 10 - November 14

We will be learning all about Jonah's story.  The story of Jonah helps us to understand that God loves all people and will forgive them when they repent (turn to him and change their ways).

November 21 - December 26

It is all about the Good News!  During this rotation we will be looking at the Annunciation, Joseph's dream and Elizabeth as we encounter the very first people to hear the Good News of Jesus, God's wonderful gift to us.  We will also see how they shared that news with others.

January 2 - February 6, 2011

We will learn from the story of Joseph that God is always with us through good times and bad.

Mother's Day Out and Temple Day School

We offer a Monday and Wednesday, Tuesday and Thursday or four day a week program at the Temple Day School for children 1 year old to 4 years of age (Pre-K).

Kindermusik is a music and movement program for children ages newborn to 7 years old.

Kindermusik develops its curriculum with the latest early childhood research that shows that music is a powerful stimulant for a child’s total development.

Parents or caregivers attend classes with the child. It is a joyful experience for all involved!

Kindermusik is taught by our children’s ministry director, Brook Wommack.
