Taking Root in Sunday School
Children and Youth: Under 3 …our nursery is available for every service and Sunday School opportunity we have and is located in the West Classroom Hallway Ages 3-5 …our preschool classes occur in the West Classroom Hallway Grades K-5 …these classes operate on a rotation model (for more information about this, click HERE to read about our children’s ministry), are separated by grade level (K, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades), and also take place in the West Classroom Hallway Grades 6-8 …Our Middle School Class takes place in the East Classroom Hallway (for more information about this and other ministry with our students/youth, click HERE.
Adult Classes Most of these classes meet in a room that is located off of the East Classroom Hallway, but check out the description below for each of the classes we offer:
Asbury Class Couples and singles, from mid-40’s +, enjoy Bible study and spiritual growth studies that encourage group discussion. Class members share Christian fellowship with a variety of activities. They also offer caring support to each other and others through many ministries. All are welcome to come and take part in this active class!
Bible 101 A class of all ages, focused on learning more about what is in our Bible. Led by our Senior Pastor, Jesse Brannen. Our classroom is located off of the East Hallway and new members are enthusiastically welcomed!
Connections Class Our class is a group of adults of all ages. We meet in a classroom that is off of the East Classroom Hallway. Our class format is a roundtable discussion, often including current events and their connection to the Bible. We invite all who are seeking a Sunday school home.
Life Lessons Class We meet in the Fountain Room off of the East Classroom Hallway. New members are always welcome!
Trinity Class Our class is made up of adults from the ages of 40 to 75, both couples and singles. We enjoy classes on a discussion format and always welcome newcomers to our class. We meet in the Trinity Classroom off of the East Classroom Hallway.
Wesley Class Although most of us in the membership of the Wesley Sunday School Class are over retirement age, it is an active group which is quite involved with the functions of the church. The membership is diverse in personality, background and abilities, and enjoys a friendly camaraderie. We support our church with prayer and take prayer requests from our members every Sunday. Even though our attendance averages sixty, a small group atmosphere pervades. New members soon feel right at home. Lessons come from Adult Bible Studies with seven teachers alternating classes.
