Congregational Care

Bereavement Teams
The Bereavement Teams share God's love to families who mourn during the loss of a loved one.  Teams rotate to serve meals and give other acts of care to families in their time of need.  For more information, contact the church office.  The group is led by Carol Wommack.

Homebound Ministry

This team cares for our members that are unable to attend functions at the church due to health or other circumstances. Communion is served to the homebound members.  For more information contact the church office.  The group is led by Alice Clark.

Local Missions

United Board of Missions

The UBM is a coalition of Mid and South County churches and dedicated volunteers providing support programs to assist the residents of Mid and South Jefferson County, Texas. We help out with the UBM throughout the year. Every July our UMM host a fundraising Christmas in July to gather socks and underwear so that students can start the year off with some much needed necessities. All clothing gathered is divided up and given to the UBM and the Children's Methodist Home.

Kairos Prison Ministry

Kairos is a Christian faith based ministry which addresses the spiritual needs of incarcerated men, women, youth, and their families. By sharing the love and forgiveness of Jesus Christ, Kairos hopes to change hearts, transform lives and impact the world.

Meals on Wheels

Meals on Wheels meets at the church every Tuesday and Friday morning to cook and prepare meals to go out into the community.
